BabyLegs Giveaway!

We had our first snow yesterday. It melted just about as fast as it hit the ground, but it was still wet and cold. Now is the time to start bundling your kiddos up.

Mom4Life has a wonderful selection of BabyLegs! They can be used for baby's legs of course, toddler legs and arms, children arms and adult arms.

For Baby:
  • I love that they can easily go under a baby's pants.
  • They can be pulled off without even taking their pants off.
  • Since there are no snaps, they make diaper changing so easy.
  • They help protect cruisers legs from getting dirty, or bruised from crawling on hard floors.
 For Toddlers and Children:
  • Cover their legs with them for easy potty training.
  • Pair up BabyLegs with shorts for in between seasons. In the morning if it's cold BabyLegs can go on. In the afternoon when it warms up slip the BabyLegs off.
  • Pair them up with your favorite short sleeve shirts for the winter time. They still get to wear the shirts they normally wouldn't be able to. Get as much use out of their clothing as possible.
  • For girls they look great with skirts and tutus.
For Adults:
  • Even adults can wear them on their arms with a short sleeve shirt.

Make sure you have a birth plan, have a few pair of pajamas that fit, a breast pump if you plan on breastfeeding, a good nursing bra that you get fitted soon before delivery, some type of nipple gel for sore cracked nipples, clothing for yourself and clothing for you baby. Keep Their Arms and Legs Warm With BabyLegs

This is the time of year where the weather goes up and down. On Saturday it was in the 70s and on Sunday it was in the 30s. Now that it's getting cold outside it's time to think about covering up your baby or toddlers legs.

BabyLegs are wonderful because you can put them on; as the day warms up you can slip them off. They are so easy to remove. They simply slide off without hassle of snaps.

As you can see in the photos above older kids can wear BabyLegs on their arms to. I loved hanging onto BabyLegs for my older kids. They work great for cold mornings. If they got hot, they just slipped them off. Plus they are very stylish!

Does Your Child Make a Mess in their Car Seat?

A product called Kiddie Kangaroo really helps with potential messes.

You may be thinking, "Why do I need another baby accessory? Many car seats come with cup holders."

I'm a mom of two and for a few years we watched two more. Having room in the car was important! Traditional cup holders are hard plastic, take a lot of room, are hard to wash, and do not fit all cups.

Once your child starts drinking from a cup, they are often picky about which cup they drink from. Some have big bases, while others are skinny. The Kiddie Kangaroo fits all types. I love the elastic that holds it all in place. It also protects the car seat from spills and other accidents.

Some Features of The Kiddie Kangaroo:
  • Pockets are simple to remove and add.
  • Pockets wipe clan and are washable.
  • It can be used in more than just their car seat. Moms and Dads that buy them have used them in strollers, any car seat and some high chairs.
  • The material is waterproof to help it stay clean from spilled accidents. This makes it easy to wipe up!
  • There are pockets on each side that have velcro strips to be placed where needed for the best sit of the seat. The velcro divider can split up the pockets for specialized storage. It also helps it to fold flat to allow for larger items such as toys and books.
  • They come in many styles: Black, Blue Camo, Pink, Pink Camo and Red.
Mom4Life has The Kiddie Kangaroo marked down.

This should help with some additional traveling for the summer!

They are originally $19.99 and marked down to $14.99. Remember Mom4Life has no shipping or tax added within the US!

Disclaimer: This product was not given to me to review. I'm simply spreading the word for a great company, deal and a product that is outside the box.

There are Many Uses for BabyLegs

One of my favorite baby items that I still use today are BabyLegs.

Here are the things I used them for:
  • An alternative for pants- They make diaper changing, so easy. Since babies have a lot of onesies, it becomes time consuming just to get to their diaper. BabyLegs keep their legs warm just like pants do. They don't need to be pulled down when a diaper is being changed.
  • Leg warmers- In freezing cold weather I'd put on BabyLegs, pants went over them, socks stayed up, a bodysuit, and a coat. I live in Nebraska; we have four true seasons. Winter can be frigid. Dressing in layers is great. When we got to our destination, the BabyLegs got pulled off. I didn't even have to take my son's pants off.
  • Arm warmers- I've used BabyLegs as arm warmers for my older kids all the way up to myself. In-between seasons when it's cold in the morning BabyLegs go on the arms. When it's warm in the afternoon they get pulled off.
  • No rug burn- My oldest had a funky crawl. He was getting sores on the one leg he'd drag. When I started putting BabyLegs on him the sores went away!
  • Club foot treatment- My nephew had a club foot. Getting pants up and down with the cast and the clunky brace he had to wear was challenging. My sister had him wear BabyLegs during the time frame of his foot being treated.
  • If a baby gets hospitalized- I must of been early on the scene with BabyLegs. I had one son that got a staph infection and my other got Meningitis. All the tubes and wires they were hooked to made changing them difficult. I didn't have one nurse that had ever seen BabyLegs before. The nurses LOVED my son's BabyLegs!

Mom4Life carries a wide selection of BabyLegs for both male and female.

Nursing Bracelets

  • There are a lot of nursing bracelet's on the market.
  • They are an excellent idea! Really any bracelet will work. You just switch arms to know which breast to start on for the next feeding. Believe me, it's easy to forget!
  • The first few weeks you can nurse on one side the whole feeding. Then you switch sides for the next feeding.
  • When they get a little older and are nursing more, you'll want to switch sides during one single feeding.

  • I really like the Milk Bands Nursing Reminder Bracelets that are sold at Mom4Life!
  • They are great because they maintain an accurate log of their baby's feeding time. This would of been so great for doctor appointments. The nurse always asked me, "How much does he eat?" I was always like, "Humm?"
  • A side indicator lets the mother know which breast should be used when starting a feeding session by simply flipping the Milk Band inside-out once during every nursing session.
  • A time tracking device is included, which can be used for many different purposes including:
  1. Record single feeding sessions to the nearest 5 minute increment
  2. Record multiple feeding sessions over a full day period
  3. Record the number of times the baby fed in one day
  4. Record the number of diapers a baby soiled during the day
  5. Reminding the mother what time the baby last fed
  6. Reminding the mother roughly what time the baby is due for another feeding

Baby Not Taking a Bottle?

  • I never had a problem with my two children when it came to taking a bottle. They would of sucked on anything.
  • My sister on the other hand had huge problems with her youngest taking a bottle. You'd think after he'd go hungry, he'd just give up and drink a bottle. After all it still had mommy milk in it. Nope! His Uncle, his Daddy and his Grandparents all had to deal with a screaming baby that wanted nothing to do with a bottle. We had to train him early on how to use a sippy cup, and even that was hard to do.
  • They make a bottle I just recently learned about that is ever so close to a natural breast. I learned about it from Mom 4 Life. Right now they have a 5% coupon on the site, free shipping and tax always!
  • The bottles are BPA and Phthalate free.
  • There are 3 stages of bottles for a different flows.
  1. Stage One is white (slow flow) is generally used for premature and newborn babies up to 3 months old.

  2. Stage Two is blue (med flow) is generally used for babies anywhere from 3 to 6 months old.

  3. Stage Three is orange (fast flow) is generally used for babies 6 months old and older.

Teething Necklasses

  • One thing I've found helpful to prevent biting while nursing is when I wear a teething necklace.
  • They make a lot of different styles. I got the Smart Mom Donut Shaped Pendent from Mom4 Life. I happen to have the grey one for $19. They have other pretty colors like the bronze one is pretty! They have bracelets that match.
  • The great thing about the bracelets is that they can be used to switch from arm to arm to not loose track of what side you nursed on.

  • If your baby chews on this jewelry, it's ok because it's BPA and phthalate free.
  • Mom 4 Life has no tax and shipping charges
